Many houses around Boulder have a central staircase to the basement that limits the adjacent kitchen and living room from growing. In this project we cut down the full height walls separating kitchen from living and capped the new half wall with the kitchen countertop quartz. The wall cabinetry extends towards the front living room helping integrate the main public area of the home.
