“Wow... so much good stuff to say about SoBo. From start to finish, Eric and Mike (owners) + Mason (production manager) and Kyle (on-site PM) and the core crew of Floey, Chino, Dave and others continuously impressed us.
We started with a 1980's build that had too many walls and corners where we were always bumping into one another. Eric and Mike gave us an out-of-the-box design that makes our house feel twice the size as it was before while only adding a small addition in reality. The floorplan remodel was ingenious and it didn't stop there. The personalized attention throughout the design phase, through finish selection, and eventual construction was second to none. When the inevitable hiccup arose with city permits (yay, Boulder...), SoBo dealt with it and got us the approvals. And because they meet with you every week on-site, there were never any miscommunications or things that fell through the cracks -- in fact if anything came up, they always proactively caught things before we did, and had a remedy in mind ahead of time.
In short, we're living in our dream home and have the SoBo team to thank for it!”
““We are very pleased with our new home, built on time and on budget by Sobo. They patiently worked with us through the design phase and then met with us regularly through the build phase. Their project management throughout was topnotch. Since completion of our house, we have used with them again on a much smaller project, which also was done very well. “We can't possibly say enough good things about SoBo! Working with them was the complete opposite of the stereotype of home remodeling horror stories. They were very responsive to our ideas yet not afraid to make suggestions based on their experience. They were very cognizant of our budget and went above and beyond to get us absolutely the best house we could for the money. They were up-front about how much each option would add to the overall scope of the project.
Once the project got underway, it was a constant flurry of activity with a tighly-choreographed schedule of contractors. Even in the middle of the COVID pandemic, the house progressed on-budget and on-time (even a few weeks early!) The result is better than we'd ever dared to hope.

“We are very pleased with our remodel by SoBo Homes. Throughout the design, construction and finish phases they were excellent. They seem to have good, long-term relationships with subcontractors, so that the remodel went very well and on schedule. Much of the finish work was done by SoBo staff, who showed much pride in their work. Most have worked for SoBo for a many years. With the online tool, CoConstruct, we were able to maintain good communication about options, changes and costs (though searching for items becomes a bit challenging as the project progresses). The contract included time with lighting and interior design pros, who helped us create a nice, personalized design.”
“SoBo did a major remodel of our house in South Boulder--popping up and reorienting the roof, adding a master bath and family room. Eric and Mike and the team did a fantastic job. Best part was their design ideas and execution--in addition to popping up the house, they (easily) convinced us to change the entry with a wonderful design that is beautiful and wonderfully functional. They helped us pick the color for the outside of the house and, though we resisted at first, we now have people knocking on the door to ask the color.
Though the project was completed several years ago, SoBo has continued to address little things that have come up as the house settles. They were wonderful to work with during the project and since. I highly recommend SoBo Homes.”
I would use SOBO again in a heart beat. They are honest hard working folks with great ideas and lots of experience. If we are ever decide to remodel again we will definitely give them a call.

SoBo has innovative designs, listen to clients needs about cost and space, and communicate well throughout the project process. Their build quality is superb, building well-insulated, quiet, and tight buildings. They were on time, on budget, and really pay attention to detail.
